Tags are labels used to group and organize your users and courses. Sometimes you might want to assign a course or resource to ALL users. This article describes how to create a tag and how to add it to all users by using Automation rules.
1. Create a tag
To create a tag:
In Studio, go to Automation > Tags.
Click New Tag.
Name your tag (for example All users) and click Add tag.
2. Add all users to a tag using Automation rules
Now that you've created a tag, you will use Automation Rules to add all your users to the tag:
Go to Automation > Advanced rules.
Click New Automation Rule.
Set rule condition to Condition is always true.
Choose rule actions Add user to tag and select the tag you created.
Click Save Changes to activate the automation rule. This means that all new users in Learnster from this point will be added to the tag.
Click Run Actions to add all existing users to the tag.
You can now add the tag to courses or resources, and all your users will be assigned to them.
