About Multi-Event Block

The Multi-Event Block allows learners to choose from multiple events within a single course. πŸ“† Instead of creating separate courses for different dates, you can offer one course with several event options. It also enables you to create hybrid courses by combining online and on-site events, providing greater flexibility.

The feature also supports scheduled courses as compliance courses. As long as new events are added to the Multi-Event Block, the compliance logic is supported.

Note: The Multi-Event feature is available only on specific pricing plans or as an add-on. If you're interested, please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.

Create a Multi-Event Block and Events

  • In a course, add a block and select the Multi-Event option.

  • Name the block, then click + Add Event to create a scheduled event.

  • From the dropdown menu, choose either On-site or Online and add the event details.

  • Click Settings for more options.

  • Click Save.

ℹ️ When adding on-site events, make sure the event locations are set up in Studio > Settings > Locations.

Hybrid events

Create hybrid events by combining on-site and online events, letting the learner register for the event that works for them. Here's an example of an event offered both online and on-site:

View Event Registrations

To view and administrate learner event registrations:

  • Go to the Learners tab and click the Events tab.

System Messages

These system messages are related to the Multi-Event Block (located in Studio > Settings > System Messages) and can be turned on/off and be customized:

"Learner invited to scheduled event via calendar"

The message is sent to Learners when they've successfully registered for an event.

"Course event date is updated"

The message triggers if any changes are made to an event within a multi-event block. The message is sent to the learners who are registered for that specific event.

"Course event is deleted"

The message triggers if an event within a multi-event block is deleted. The message is sent to the learners who are registered for that specific event.
