Course Information

Course name: The name of the course. This is a mandatory field.
Course description: A course description that is displayed on the course information page in Learnster U. You can type free text. This text will be displayed in Learnster U if added.
Cover image: An image that will represent the course. The cover image will be shown on the course card in Learnster U.
Syllabus: Usually bullet points or a list with the course content that is shown on course information tab. You can type free text. This text will be displayed in Learnster U if added.
Requirements: Information about course prerequisites. You can type free text. This text will be displayed in Learnster U if added.
Target group: Information about the course target group. You can type free text. This text will be displayed in Learnster U if added.
Other information: Additional course information. You can type free text. This text will be displayed in Learnster U if added.

Content Designers & Instructors

Instructors: Add one or multiple instructors for the course.
Users must be pre-registered as Content Designers or Instructors in Users > Content Designers/Instructors in order to appear in the dropdown list.
Show instructors: Allow learners to see the course instructors on the course information page in Learnster U.
- Yes: instructors are displayed on the information page.
- No: instructors will not be displayed on the information page.
Content Designers: Add team members, employees or contractors that should contribute to, or manage, the course content for this course.

Location: Locations are used in scheduled blocks, especially for on-site activities like scheduled seminars and classroom events. The location information will be displayed in Learnster U as a map.
Show start & End dates: Displays course start and end dates. Requires that the course contains a scheduled block.
Course length: Displays course length information on the course information page in Learnster U.
Scheduled time: Displays course duration on the course information page in Learnster U.
Duration is automated from a scheduled block. If a course doesn't contain a scheduled block, the setting will be disabled.
Self study: Displays course self-study duration on the course information page in Learnster U. This is a free text field.

Show learners: Allow learners to see other course participants on the course information page in Learnster U.
- Yes: learners will be displayed on the information page.
- No: learners will not be displayed on the information page.
