About Multiple Choice question

In a Multiple Choice question, your Learner can choose from a list of options and select more than one correct answer

This question type is available in both Quiz and Survey.

Add or edit a Multiple Choice question

Follow these steps to add and edit a multiple choice question:

  1. Drag and drop a Multiple Choice question type into the builder area.

  2. Click on that particular question in the builder area to start editing the question and answers on the left side of the page. 

  3. Type to add or edit the question.

  4. Type to add a description (optional).

  5. Add different options by typing the answers.

  6. Mark the correct answer by clicking on the correct answer's check button.

  7. Add custom feedback (optional).

Add an image (optional) to a question by clicking on the "Add image" icon in the top left hand side.

Below is what the admin interface looks like when you choose the image answer option. You activate this option in questions settings.

⚠️ To make sure that your questions are saved (they will autosave), you need to mark one or more answers as correct.

Question specific settings

Besides global settings for a quiz or a survey, you can control local settings for each question. Click on the settings icon of the question, or the icon at the top right, to access the setting controls.

Settings description for multiple choice

Question settings:

  • Reveal the result after the question: Activate if you wish to show if the Learner's response was correct or incorrect.

  • Show correct answer to an incorrect response: When activated, the incorrect response is marked with red, and the correct response is marked with green.

  • Shuffle answer choices: When activated, the answer options randomly change position when the learner retakes the quiz.

Question options:

  • Image mode: Activate if you want to use image answers instead of text answers.

Feedback:

  • Add custom feedback to this question: Activate if you wish to add custom feedback to the question.
