About match question

With the match question type, you can create interactive quizzes where your learner matches different answer options. You can include unlimited number of matching pairs.

This question type is available for quiz only.

💡Note: Long questions and answers will make it difficult for your learners to read and drag and drop the answer options. Therefore, keep questions and answers short, and don't add more than five match questions at once.

Add or edit a match question

Follow these steps to add and edit a match question:

  1. Drag and drop a match question type into the builder area.

  2. Click on that particular question in the builder area to start editing the question and answers on the left side of the page.

  3. Type to add or edit the question.

  4. Type to add a description (optional).

  5. Add each option with the right matching option in the two columns.

  6. Add custom feedback (optional).

Add a question image (optional) to a question by clicking on the "Add media" icon on the top left-hand side.

Question specific settings

Besides global settings for a quiz or a survey, you can control local settings for each question. Click the settings icon of the question, or the icon at the top right, to access the setting controls.
