Use Teams to structure and organize your Learners.

About Teams 

Teams is a way to structure and organize Learners and allows structuring Users into smaller units and groups. A Team Manager can be assigned to one or several Teams and can administrate the Team Members.

You can adjust the permissions for Team Managers to decide what access they should have and what actions they should be able to carry out. Check out Role Permission Settings to learn more about how this is done.

❗️ Please note that this article only shows what Team Managers can do with the default role permission settings. The picture below shows the available role permission settings for team managers.

Start using teams

Open Teams in Learnster Studio:

  1. From Learnster U, go to Studio.

  2. Click on Teams in the left navigation menu.

  3. Click on your Team in the list.

Add Team Members:

  1. Go to your Team-page.

  2. Click on Team Members.

  3. Click on Add new member and choose a user from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Save & Quit to save.

ℹ️ To add completely new users to Learnster: Use the blue +button to the right. Just make sure you have the right role permission settings or the button won't show.

View Team Statistics:

  1. Open your Team.

  2. Click on the tab Courses.

  3. Open a course to see the progress information for the Team and for each Team Member.

View Individual Statistics:

  1. Click on your Team in the list.

  2. Click on the tab Learners.

  3. Click on a Team Member. This shows the individual progress for all the courses the Team Member is assigned to. 

Send Direct Messages:

  1. Open your Team.

  2. Click on the tab Learners.

  3. Choose one or several Team Members by checking the boxes.

  4. Click on the Message symbol.

  5. Write a message and click on Send message.

Remove Team Members:

  1. Go to your Team-page.

  2. Click on Members.

  3. Hoover over the member you want to remove and click the X.
