The main improvement in version 16 of Learnster is that your Learners can now read important messages directly in Learnster U in the new Notifications Center ๐Ÿ“ฃ. We hope you and your Learners will enjoy the updates!

Contents:

Notifications Center

The Notifications Center gives the Learners a clear overview of messages sent from Learnster, which makes it easy to keep track of what's going on in the platform.

Your Learners will be able to view messages on their Learnster U start page by clicking the bell symbol in the top right corner. To make sure no messages are missed, a blue dot will be shown at the edge of the bell symbol if there are any unread notifications ๐Ÿ›Ž.

Messages sent as Notifications are separate from messages sent by Email. In the Notifications Center, the Learners can only view messages that have been sent out as a "Notification" (Learn more about System Messages Settings in Studio). In this way, you can tailor what messages should be included in your Learners' Notifications Center and what messages should be sent by Email ๐Ÿ“ฉ.

Hide single Instructors

Previously, your Learners could see all the Instructors assigned to a course on the course information page. It's not unusual to have several Instructors assigned to a course, but only some of them will actually meet the Learners in a scheduled event. For this reason, we've added the option to hide single Instructors. This will make it clear which Instructors the Learners will meet during the course ๐Ÿ‘‹.

Catalog Enrollment Message โ€“ "Anything we need to know?"

When your Learners register for a course in the Course Catalog, they can add a message (if you have enabled this option in course settings โ€“ learn more about the Course Catalog settings).
