Learn how to use Categories to make it easier for your Learners to find relevant courses.

Create Categories to make it easier for your Learners to find relevant courses! This is what it looks like in the course overview in Learnster U:

To make this work, you need to do create a Category and then add a course to the Category. This is how you do it:

1. Create Categories

To create one or more Categories:

  1. Go to Studio.

  2. Go to Settings and click on Categories in the menu.

  3. Click the button + New Category in the top right corner.

  4. Add a Category name.

  5. Click the button Save changes in the bottom right corner.

After this, you need to add one or more courses to the Category:

2. Add a course to a Category

  1. In Studio, click on Courses in the left menu to make sure you can see the course list.

  2. Open a course.

  3. Go to the tab Settings.

  4. Under General, you will find Categories at the top.

  5. Click in the field next to it and a dropdown menu will open.

  6. Choose Category.

  7. Click Save (top right corner).

The category/ies will now show in Learnster U.

You can also use Categories for the Catalog.
