Sometimes, managing compliance requires flexibility for individual learners. With the ability to manually edit completion and expiration dates, you can easily correct errors or adjust for unique schedules. This update keeps compliance tracking accurate and adaptable.
ℹ️ This functionality applies only to courses using the "Compliance Period" validity setting.
Examples of use cases:
Assignment-Based Completion: If a learner completes an assignment as part of their compliance training, the instructor can manually set the completion date once the assignment is reviewed and approved.
Correcting Errors: If a learner's completion date or expiration date was recorded incorrectly, you can easily adjust it to reflect the accurate timeline.
How to Adjust Compliance Dates
You can edit dates directly in course progress or via bulk upload:
Directly in the Course:
In course progress, hover over a learner’s name, open the more menu (the three dots) and select Modify course dates:
In the modal, you can set a new Latest Completion Date and/or a new Compliance Expiration Date:
2. Via Bulk Upload:
To edit compliance dates via bulk upload, you add a new date in the course history template:
In Studio, go to Users and click the tab Import Learnster Courses History, and download the template file.
Open the template file and look for the new column, “Date of Compliance Expiration.”
This field is optional, but if populated, it will set a custom expiration date for the specified participant.
The “Compliant For” column in Course Progress will display the text "Modified" if the compliance date has been updated 👇
